Fat Macy’s is a catering social enterprise that works with young Londoners living in temporary accommodation providing a pathway from hostel to home through culinary training and pop-up events across the capital. We have been helping them find and design a new permanent home in South East London, assisting with finding options for sites in Peckham to include a cafe and restaurant, complete with a professional working kitchen for training and events.

Fat Macy’s new home will bring independent business to London which will support the local community, create training opportunities for young Londoners living in temporary accommodation, and serve up delicious food! A new home will allow Fat Macy’s to continue their programme and increase their support for young Londoners escaping the cycle of homelessness. Opening a permanent venue will mean they can work full time supporting Londoners living in temporary hostel accommodation.
